Romanticizing Harm
The promotion of practices like breast binding and puberty blocking as “reversible” and empowering is a dangerous lie. These are not harmless rites of passage—they’re precursors to irreversible interventions and lifelong consequences, wrapped in the soft glow of sentimental marketing.
Legal and Constitutional Concerns
Legal experts, including those at the Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty, warn these policies violate both the Constitution and longstanding federal laws like FERPA. Parents’ constitutional right to guide their children’s upbringing is being actively eroded by the gender ideology movement.
In the words of therapist David Minor, we must ask: Is the problem truly the parent’s refusal to affirm—or the harmful belief that non-affirmation equals abuse?
